Associated Speech and Language Specialists was established in June, 1994. It was an outgrowth of a group of speech and language pathologists who shared a vision and a hope to offer excellence in speech and language services.

Shelly Montelibano was elected Vice President for Health Care by the Minnesota Speech Language Hearing Association (MSHA). In addition, Katie Jacobs was elected to Policy Council by MSHA. MSHA is the professional organization for speech-language pathologists and audiologists in Minnesota.
